Garo ditches plastic cups, taking a key step for sustainability

This January is a new start for Garo HQ in Italy: All coffee automatic machines converted to paper-made cups, eliminating all non-recyclable plastic cups.

As an even greener solution, all employees received for Christmas a ceramic mug to be used in the Coffee Machines instead of any disposable cups, thus preventing the creation of the waste in the first place.

By using more environmental-friendly paper cups or – even better – reusable ceramic mugs, all Garo coffee lovers will contribute to reduce the use of non-recyclable plastic up to 200 kg (440 lb) per year.
